DLTUPR650 series - Roughing Application

 
Literal statement:
We offer a variety of high performance carbide roughing designs. The Rough-Tech is designed specifically for steel and aluminum alloy milling, solid or coolant fed, with a coarse tooth profile. The Aero-Rough (RS100 U/F) incorporates a truncated roughing tooth profile for maximum efficiency in aerospace alloys such as stainless steel, titanium and Inconel. The Rough-tech 48/56 (GS100 U/H) is designed for roughing materials up to 48 HRC and 56 HRC respectively and a coolant.
Features:
  • Suitable for roughing of steels & cast iron (≤ 60 HRC).
  • Special chip-breaking cutting edge design, for roughing applications.

Tool material composition:
1.Physical Properties:
A) Hardness greater than or equal to 92.8 HRA;
B) Density greater than or equal to 14.2 g/cm³;
C) TRS greater than or equal to 4200 N/mm²;
D) Free of ETA phase condition;
E) No contamination by other materials;
F) Porosity = A00 / B00 / C00 ;
G) Uniform and consistent grain size. No grain size can be   larger than specified.
H) Chromium carbide grain growth inhibitor only.
2.All the tools of production, coatings are used in Germany, Switzerland,  processing equipment;
3.It's proposed cutting less than HRC60;

  • Please adjust the speed,feed and cutting depth according to actual cutting conditions.
  • The milling conditions are for an end mill where the tool overhang length is less than 4*D(mill diameter). When the tool overhang length is longer, please adjust the speed,feed and cutting depth.
